Saltin and Zahere are owner releases. I have been told that they were registered Arabian Show Horses. They
have had it rough through the winter and possibly before that. I was told that they were ridden last summer by children.
They are so sweet............but so very thin!
I will try to keep updates here from time to time..............so come back often to see how they are doing!

UPDATE APRIL 19, 2005
Saltin and Zahere have been wormed and are now getting fed twice daily with good food and supplements, as well
as having all the hay they want.
I brushed them out the best I could over the weekend. LOTS of hair went everywhere! And now they
look even worse than they did when they came here! I guess all the fur was hiding the bones.........how sad...:(
I did take some photos, close up of how thin they are, I will post them as soon as I get them developed.
I will warn you, though..........the photos don't look so good....kinda graphic!
Both horses nicker at me at feeding time, and they are now on a small lot where there is a little green grass,
as well as a big round bale of hay for them.
These two are just SO sweet and loving! Especially Saltin........he is even blind in his right eye, but
he is a real lover anyway!
I will be looking for them to go to new forever homes as soon as I feel they can be moved. Anyone interested
in one or both of them needs to contact me!
